Integrated AIS receiver

With the built-in AIS receiver, the IC-M506EURO can display real-time ship AIS information on the screen. The call function to an AIS target allows you to easily set up an individual DSC call. The Ploter and the lists of targets and danger can be toggled on the screen.

NMEA 2000® connectivity

With the plug-and-play functionality of the NMEA 2000, the IC-M506EURO can be easily connected to a NMEA 2000 network. The IC-M506EURO can receive and transmit GPS (position, heading (COG) and speed (SOG) AIS report and data of the DSC call information, radio transmission frequency and PGN list data, in the network.

With this function, the IC-M506EURO can convert NMEA 0183 GPS data to NMEA 2000 data for other equipment.

Recording the last voice call

The recording function of the last voice call automatically saves the last two minutes of the last incoming call. You can play the incoming call, and no incoming call will be lost.

Active noise canceler

Utilizing digital signal processing technology, the integrated bidirectional active noise canceling provides excellent performance. Background noise is reduced by up to 90% in the received signal and 30% fixed in the transmission signal. It can also be disabled.

New intuitive user interface

The intuitive softkey functions provide quick and easy operation to control the IC-M506EURO's many functions.

The left and right buttons allow you to move between the different functions of the bottom line of the dot matrix display.

Output for bidirectional megaphone

When connected to an external pager, you can talk to people on the deck or on the shore from the radio microphone and can hear the response from the people through the loudspeaker. The RX Pager function allows you to monitor the audio received from the PABX. The 25W amplifier increases power when speaking to make your communication strong and clear.

Built-in horn function (automatic and manual)

The fog horn function is built-in via the external loudspeaker. You can select four horn patterns for the Auto Horn function.

DSC ITU Clase D (Meets ITU-R M493-13)

The built-in DSC monitoring function monitors the activity of channel 70 (DSC channel), even while receiving on another channel. DSC functions include: Distress calls, individual, group, all ships, emergency, security, position request / report, DSC polling request and test. Up to 100 DSC address IDs can be programmed.

IPX8 superior water resistance

The IC-M506EURO and supplied HM-205B microphone can withstand 1m depth in water for 60 minutes.
